A Summons in the Night is a British play, written and directed by Scott Ramsay, performed by People and Stories company at The Dockyard Club (Southsea, Portsmouth, UK) on 21 september 2024 and toured in UK (see performances), starring Scott Ramsay as Arthur Conan Doyle.

Portsmouth Harbour. 1889. When an Egyptian sarcophagus arrives by sea, a deadly force is unleashed across the streets of Victorian England. An American adventurer (Irene Hunter), a touring theatre manager (Bram Stoker), and a local physician (Arthur Conan Doyle) seek to tame the beast. But as they gather for a great experiment, will they contain the spirit that means them harm or will the course of human history be changed forever?
