Arthur Twidle (1865-1936) was a British illustrator wellknown for his drawings of Conan Doyle stories after the death of Sidney Paget. He worked for The Strand Magazine but also for the Annie S. Swan's Magazine, The Red Magazine, The Girl's Own Paper...

Between 1903 and 1909, he did 158 illustrations for Arthur Conan Doyle's fictions.
