''In Search of... Sherlock Holmes'' is the 12th episode of season 3 of the American TV series ''In Search of...'' produced by ''Alan Landsburg Productions'', aired on ''KNBC-TV'' (Los Angeles) on 21 december 1978, starring [[Leonard Nimoy]] as the host. 22 minutes.

The documentary hosted by [[Leonard Nimoy]] intended to explain who was [[Sherlock Holmes]], concluding that it was [[Sir Arthur Conan Doyle]] himself of course. With comments from crime writers (Peter Lovesey and H. R. F. Keating), and sherlockians experts of the time (Stanley MacKenzie, BSI, and Philip Dalton, SHSL). 

4 actors played [[Arthur Conan Doyle]], [[Joseph Bell|Dr. Joseph Bell]], [[Alfred H. Wood]] and [[George Edalji]].
