Jacques François

Jacques François (16 may 1920 - 25 november 2003) was a French actor who played Sherlock Holmes in the TV movie Une aventure de Sherlock Holmes aired on 25 december 1967 on french channel ORTF), with Jacques Alric (Watson) and Grégoire Aslan (Moriarty), which is an adaptation of the William Gillette's play, in the Pierre Decourcelle's version.
He also played in two episodes of the TV series Sherlock Holmes with Ronald Howard, in 1955 : he was Dr. Dimanche in The Case of the Deadly Prophecy (14 march 1955) and Count Magor in The Case of the Royal Murder (27 june 1955).
