This letter was written by Arthur Conan Doyle from Windlesham in 1909 to Mr. Fotheringham about his "morality play" The Fires of Fate premiered at the Lyric Theatre (London, UK) on 15 june 1909.

Letter

Dear Mr. Fotheringham

My father in law Mr. Leckie thought you might care to see my attempt to resuscitate the morality play in modern terms. I am sure you will sympathise with the attempt if not the execution. I am therefore sending you some tickets for the first night.

Yours faithfully

Arthur Conan Doyle.
