This letter dictated by Arthur Conan Doyle to his secretary Alfred H. Wood was sent on 1st february 1926 to Mr. Carl A. Carleson, President of the Stockholms Spiritualistiska Förening (Stockholm Spiritualist Association) about his novel The Land of Mist.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your interesting letter and invitation to Stockholm, but I regret that I am unable to make any promise at present. I have, however, made a note of it, and will consider the matter later.
