Mrs Hudson's Radio Show (2018) is adapted from the novel Mrs Hudson's Diaries

Mrs Hudson's Radio Show is a British radio play, written by Bob Cryer & Barry Cryer (adapted from their 2012 book Mrs Hudson's Diaries) and directed by Ned Chaillet & Ben Walker, performed by The Waters Company at the RADA Studio Theatre (London, UK) on 5 november 2018 and broadcasted in 2 parts on BBC Radio 4 on 2 and 9 december 2018, starring Orlando Wells as Sherlock Holmes, Stephen Critchlow as Dr. Watson and Patricia Hodge as Mrs. Hudson. Live recording : 2h. Broadcasted programmes : 2 x 30 min.

After years of patiently waiting in the wings, Mrs Hudson is ready to storm the airwaves in a comic portrait that is both thrilling and absurd. Mrs Hudson encounters everything from crooked magicians and Music Hall divas to stolen gem stones and dodgy clairvoyants. Holmes and Watson are never far away, of course.
