London. July 18. — The Canadian, Australian and African athletes at Stockholm, according to the correspondent of the Times in that city, favor entering a single team from the whole empire in future games instead of entering the colonies separately. "We have an analogy in the case of the United States," adds the correspondent, "whose score points include negroes, red Indians, and Hawaiians."

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in a letter to the Times strongly advocates the foregoing plan and says: "I would go further and seek among the Ceylon or Malay swimmers, Indian runners, and Sikh wrestlers for possible winners."
