''The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes'' is a British play, written by [[Laura Turner]] and directed by [[Philip Stevens]], performed by the ''Chapterhouse Theatre Company'', premiered at ''The Abbey Gardens'' (Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, UK) on 12 june 2014 and toured in UK and Ireland until 7 september 2014 (see [[#Performances|dates]]), starring [[Chris Huntly-Turner]] as [[Sherlock Holmes]] and [[Benjamin Darlington]] as [[Dr. Watson]]. 120 minutes.

Deep in the beautiful Northumbrian countryside a terrifying mystery and a legendary nemesis await the arrival of the world's greatest detective. When the wife of Doctor Watson suddenly disappears, a desperate quest to find her begins. Sherlock Holmes comes face to face with his greatest fear at the hands of his mortal enemy.
