The Crucifer of Blood is an American play written and directed by Paul Giovanni, performed at the Studio Arena Theatre (Buffalo, NY, USA) from 6 january to 4 february 1978, starring Paxton Whitehead as Sherlock Holmes and Timothy Landfield as Dr. Watson.
Paxton Whitehead and Timothy Landfield played also The Crucifer of Blood with a different cast at the Studio Arena Theatre (New York) from 28 september 1978 to 22 april 1979.
The play is an adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's novel : The Sign of Four (1890).
