The Eclectic Magazine of Foreign Literature, Science and Art was an American monthly magazine based in New York, published between 1844 and 1907. In 1898, it was sold to its competitor: The Living Age, who kept it in publication until 1905. It returned to New York in 1905 but was discontinued in 1907.

Between 1890 and 1891, the magazine published 3 short stories written by Arthur Conan Doyle.
