The Return of Sherlock Holmes is a British 2-acts play, directed by Harry Lands, performed by the Middle Ground Theatre Company, at the Tyne Theatre & Opera House (Newcastle upon Tyne, UK) from 17 to 22 march 1997, starring Michael Cashman as Sherlock Holmes and Frederick Pyne as Dr. Watson.

The play has been adapted by Ernest Dudley from a play by Harold Terry & Arthur Rose originally written for Eille Norwood, see The Return of Sherlock Holmes (1923-1924).
