This match was concluded on the United Services, Ground at Portmouth, on Saturday. The not out, Capt. Ellershaw, being absent at the commencement was allowed to bat subsequently. The innings, which at the conclusion of the first day's play stood at 100 for three, closed for 266. A very fine opening was made by the Services in their second innings. The Rovers wanted 216 to win, and only an hour and a half in which to get them. In spite of the difficult task before them, and made good use of their time, but when time for drawing stumps arrived had scored but 169 at the cost of three wickets. Score:
