Maurice Denham (23 december 1909 - 24 july 2002) was a British actor who Josiah Amberley in 1965 in episode The Retired Colourman of the TV series Sherlock Holmes with Douglas Wilmer (Sherlock Holmes).

In 1967, he played Dr. Phelps McCarthy in episode The Willow House School of the TV series Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

In 1969, he played the Times' editor-in-chief in the parodic TV movie The Best House in London with Peter Jeffrey (Sherlock Holmes).

In 1993, he played Reverend Merridew in episode The Last Vampyre of the TV series Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett (Sherlock Holmes).
