Letter

My dear Sir

I am with the troops so can only send you this hurried line to thank you for your kind letter. I fancy there are enough Irishmen who think as we do to make a party with. I don't know which I hate most a Fenian or an Orangeman — they are both of the 18th century.

Yours very truly
A Conan Doyle.
