The English Players, with Ben Greet at their head, are due back at the Theatre Albert I. on August 19, for another season of plays in English. The company begins with "The Light that Failed," for four evenings, followed by Conan Doyle's "Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" ("The Speckled Band"). Mr. Stirling and his companions will move to the Cubic Theatre in the Decorative Arte Exposition on August 29, playing Bernard Shaw's "You Never Can Tell," and Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest," returning to the Théâtre Albert I. on September 5, when the English Players will offer the late Stanley Houghton's "Hindle Wakes" and a repertoire including "Caste," with our old friend Ben Greet in the part of Eccles.
