Dear Kinross
There is a difference, for if anyone said I was unsincere in ... it would clearly not be humourous, whereas the remark of my informant was clearly meant to be so and not ill matured. Of course I knew nothing of this Hospital. I have asked the American Publisher however to put a slip in to say that Riley's friends do not accept that view. I think that should satisfy them.
