Doubleday & McClure Company was an American book publishing company started in 1897 by Frank Nelson Doubleday (1862-1934) who had formed a partnership with the magazine publisher Samuel McClure.

- 1897-1900 : Doubleday & McClure Co.
- 1900-1927 : Doubleday, Page & Co. : Walter Hines Page joined as a new partner.
- 1927-1946 : Doubleday, Doran & Co. : merge with George H. Doran.
- After 1946 : Doubleday & Co. : name changed.
Between 1898 and 1930, the company published 20 novels, 161 short stories, 61 poems, 2 essays and 1 auto-biography written by Arthur Conan Doyle.
