Letter
July 1 /10
Dear Mr. Dudley Ward,
My brother-in-law, Stewart Leckie, lent me your book "Jenny Peters" and I have spent the day reading it. I thought it fine — very brave and lofty — well done in every way. I hear from Leckie that it is in trouble with the libraries — and I am not surprised — but anyone can see it is all done for a good purpose.
- Excuse this line
- Yours very truly
- Arthur Conan Doyle
