Letter

48 Grand Parade

My dear Smith

I can't attune my mind to fiction. I've tried but I can't. I wish those pools would let me begin my history in your Xmas number. It is a year old now.

I fear the small article will have to do. If you like I will try to add it & make it longer. I don't know if I can.

Yours very sincerely
A Conan Doyle.
