This letter was dictated by Arthur Conan Doyle to his secretary Alfred H. Wood on 9 july 1905 from Undershaw, Hindhead, Haslemere, was sent to A. Stapleton (244 Radford Road, Nottingham).
The letter relates to the book: Count Tallard's Exile in Nottingham (1905, limited edition of 25 copies only, with extensive manuscript additions, corrections and a hand-written list of subscribers which includes Arthur Conan Doyle). [1]
