With reference to what I said about the history I think I could cut it down by 150,000 words to make it a smaller volume.
Mr. Hewitt KC thought that there were allusions in the Slater book which might cause trouble. He has marked them & is showing me how to make it all safe. I'll send it in when I have dare so.
