Letter to the press about Rifle Competition

Letter

Dear Sir:

On May 2nd (Saturday) I have a rifle competition at my own range here, open to the various civilian rifle clubs of Surrey, Sussex & Hampshire.

This movement has already added 25,000 good men to the forces of the country. So I think it deserves encouragement from the press.

If you should send down a representative, I should do what I could to make him comfortable.

Yours truly
Arthur Conan Doyle.
