Norwood v. London and Westminster Bank

Played at the Pavilion Grounds on Saturday last, and ended in a draw. Rain came down at intervals all the afternoon, making the wicket very easy for batting. For Norwood, Alfred Goodwin and Raby played carefully and well, and Checkland played a brilliant, hard-hitting innings; whilst, for the visitors, Musson and Snell batted very patiently, putting together 96 before they were parted.
