The Rt. Hon. THE LORD MAYOR will preside over a PUBLIC MEETING at the MANSION HOUSE, TO-MORROW (Thursday), at 3.30 p.m., to support an appeal to establish and endow

THE VETERANS' CLUB

(founded in 1911 for the benefit of sailors and soldiers on leaving the service) as an Imperial Memorial of those who have fought in the Great War.

Speakers: The Lord Mayor, Lt.-Gen the Earl of Dundouald, Rt. Hon. Sir F. Milner, Bt., Admiral the Hon. Sir E. Fremantle, the Rev. Father Bernard Vaughan, S.J., Sir A. Conan Doyle, Hon. Arthur Davey, and Major Haggard (Founder of the Club), Hon. Treasurers: The Duke of Bedford and the Lord Mayor. All are welcome.
