Selden (also titled Selden: Deep in the Grimpen Mire) is a Russian short movie, written and directed by Dmitry Lesnikov, produced by Moon Shine Cinema in 2010, starring Maxim Sveshnikov as Selden. 66 min.
Selden, the Notting Hill murderer escaped from Princetown prison in Dartmoor, is a character took from the Arthur Conan Doyle's novel The Hound of the Baskervilles (1901). This short film cover the period from his escape to his death, killed by the hound of the Baskervilles, showing his survival in the Grimpen moor, his communication method with the Barrymores, etc.
The movie don't show Sherlock Holmes, Watson, or any Baskervilles. The story is focussed on Selden side only.
