The Adventures of Chubblock Homes is a comic strip drawn by Jack Butler Yeats (1871-1957) published in Comic Cuts in 1893 (38 episodes) and Funny Wonder in 1894 (48 episodes) and in 1895-1897 (16 episodes). In this parody Chubblock Homes has a dog as a sidekick named Shirk. Chubblock Homes was named after the famous locksmith firm Chubb & Sons that were in every homes at that time.
