The Lift, A Desperate Tale is the 4th episode of the British TV series Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Written by John Hawkesworth and directed by Michael Hart, released on 12 february 1967 on BBC, starring Keith Buckley as Tom Crabbe.
Tom Crabbe and his girlfriend Vicky Heald take a trip up the Eiffel Tower but their holiday takes a horrible turn when the lift stops abruptly on the way down...
This is an adaptation of the Arthur Conan Doyle's short story : The Lift (1922).
