At the winter meeting of the National Rifle Association on Wednesday, Colonel Fletcher announced that Lord Waldegrare, Mr. Adams, Dr. Conan Doyle, and himself had been appointed trustees of Mr. Actor's donation of £10,000 for the formation of rifle clubs.

The money is to be distributed for the

FORMATION OF NEW CLUBS

using the Service rifle, the members paying not more than 1s. per annum subscription.

Affiliated at present to the National Rifle Association are 244 clubs, with a membership of 18,000.

Colonel Fletcher also announced that substantial additions are probable to this year's Bisley prize list; that permanent offices for the association are to be built at Bisley, and that only a small office will be maintained in London.
