David Suchet (born 2 may 1946) is a British actor, most wellknown for playing Hercule Poirot in the TV series of the same name.
He also played Professor Moriarty on stage in 1976 in the William Gillette adaptation of Sherlock Holmes in Birmingham. He also played the role of Roger Altounyan in an episode of the TV series Science Fiction : Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Missing Link
