Brent Spiner

Brent Spiner (born 2 february 1949) is an American actor famous for his role of the cyborg Data in the Star Trek Next Generation series between 1987 and 1994. As a robot, Data is a fan of Sherlock Holmes with which he shares the logical reasonning. The series includes 2 episodes where Data is taking the role of Sherlock Holmes in the Holodeck of the Enterprise spaceship.
