Landers Stevens

Landers Stevens (1877-1940) was an American actor, born in San Francisco, California. He was the actor-manager of Ye Liberty Playhouse in Oakland, before he moved to Glendale, California, in 1918, to take up a career in motion pictures.
He played Sherlock Holmes twice in 1919 in the play Sherlock Holmes (july 1919) and The Sign of the Four (december 1919).
